Dinosaurs are coming to Macon!

Non-profit organization Jurassic Jungle is bringing their dinosaur show to Macon-Bibb.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Dinosaurs are coming back to life in Macon-Bibb.

Jurassic Jungle is bringing its dinosaur roadshow to Bibb County this summer to take kids back 66 million years.

The show includes about 16 dinosaurs, all from different eras, and families will have a chance to learn about each one.

The founders of Jurassic Jungle, Brandon and Miranda Schossler, say they hope the community can enjoy the show and learn about the importance of conservation.

“It’s all about bringing the kids in an immersive environment where they can learn in a very fun and entertaining way to make learning about science and natural history fun,” Brandon Schossler explained. “They get to see things that they probably have never gotten to see before, and it’s fun to get to bring it to them,” Miranda Schossler added.

The show will take place July 23-25 at Anderson Conference Center in Macon. Jurassic Jungle also plans to have a few pop-up shows around Middle Georgia between now and then. To find an upcoming popup show, you can check out the non-profit’s Facebook page at Jurassic Jungle.
