Deputies: Woman in critical condition after Saturday morning shooting in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman is in critical condition after being shot early Saturday morning.

According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, deputies responded to a home in 3400 block of Mary Drive just before 2 a.m. to investigate a ShotSpotter alert and a report of a person down.

Deputies found a 56-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
