Deputies searching for missing Perry man

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a man who was last seen at his Perry home Friday morning.

Capt. Jon Holland tells 41NBC News, 45-year-old Marcus Eugene Martin left his home around 8 a.m. in a 2012 white Ford F-150 truck. He was last seen in the Lea Glen subdivision off GA Hwy 341. 

Holland says Martin did not show up to work. He adds it’s out of Martin’s character to go missing and that the circumstances are “very suspicious.”

The sheriff’s office says Martin is considered as a “missing/endangered person” at this time.

The truck has a Georgia license plate tag of DJI660. There is a Georgia Southern alumni tag attached to the front bumper.

Martin has dark brown hair and green eyes. He is 6’4” and weighs 230 pounds.

Anyone who sees Martin or the truck is asked to call their local law enforcement agency, 911, or the Houston County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 542-2080.
