Deputies search for suspect accused of residential theft

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb and Baldwin County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who is accused of stealing items from a Bibb County home and pawning it in Milledgeville.

According to Bibb County Sheriff’s Lt. Sean DeFoe, deputies are searching for 35-year-old Brian Mitchell Lawson of Macon.

The theft happened at a home on Millerfield Road in October. Investigators are asking for the public’s help to find Lawson for questioning.

Deputies are also looking for a second suspect.

Lawson has two warrants for his arrest. DeFoe tells 41NBC the first warrant is for theft by receiving and the second warrant is for theft by deception.

Lawson is approximately 5’5″ tall and weighs around 130 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
