GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Jones County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a suspect involved in a break-in at the Dollar General on Homer Roberts Road.
It happened on September 22, according to a post Monday on the Jones County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
According to the post, the suspect forced entry though the front door before trying to access the cigarette cabinet inside the store. He was unsuccessful, despite the keys being left in the lock.
“Still, we’d like to see if anyone can help identify him, so we can speak with him about the damage he did to the front door,” the post said.
Deputies say the suspect, described as a white male with dark hair, left behind a bookbag and a small amount of heroin. He has the word “HARD” tattooed on his right forearm. Photos are attached.
