Deputies: 68-year-old, 71-year-old shot in south Macon
Two men who were found shot on Monday—one on Liberty Church Road and the other on Bevin Drive—are in stable condition at the hospital.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men are in stable condition at the hospital after being shot on Monday.
A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a distress call about a person shot near the 2100 block of Liberty Church Road. That’s where they found a 68-year-old man with a gunshot wound. Paramedics responded and took the man to a medical facility.
“Moments later,” according to the news release, investigators responded to the 6500 block of Bevin Drive regarding a report of another person shot. Deputies found a 71-year-old man shot there. Paramedics took him to the hospital.
“Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident,” the news release stated. “The circumstances surrounding the incident is under investigation.”
