Delays expected for opening of Macon Charter Academy
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Parents of future Macon Charter Academy students will have to wait a little longer to send their kids to the school.
The board of directors announced Wednesday, the school’s opening will be delayed for a year because of renovations and construction concerns.
According to a news release, the delay will allow all of the renovations to be completed.
There is a meeting for all parents who completed applications for their kids.
The meeting is at Central High School Auditorium Thursday at 6 p.m. where they’ll have the opportunity to see renderings of what the new school will look like.
