Current pattern continues this weekend

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures both high and low will be near average through this weekend with isolated storms over the back half of the day.
This Evening
It’s a bit hotter this afternoon than it was yesterday, however the heat is not as bad as Wednesday. Isolated storms have already begun around the region with more expected through the evening and into tonight. A Level 1 “Marginal” threat includes all of Middle Georgia through the remainder of the evening.
Aside from storms overhead will be scattered clouds with expected lows around the 70 degree mark. Wind will be light and variable. Areas that don’t see rain could see some patchy fog.
Tomorrow
Saturday will be partly sunny and pretty hot with highs expected largely in the lower 90s. Real feels should hover around 100 degrees. Wind will be light from the west-southwest.
While at this moment there are no severe categories issued for the region tomorrow, a Level 1 “Marginal” risk the morning of cannot be ruled out. If this comes down it will be due to the potential for a few damaging wind gusts. Storms will be most likely through the late afternoon and evening.
Overnight will be partly cloudy and a couple storms may linger early. Expect lows largely in the lower 70s accompanied by light wind from the southwest.
Sunday and Beyond
A few more clouds are likely Sunday however there will still be plenty of heat with highs into the low to mid 90s and real feels pushing over 100 degrees. Wind will remain light from the west at around 5 mph. Isolated storms are again likely over the latter half of the day.
The current pattern will carry into the new week with about a third to half of the region capable of receiving rainfall any given day. Highs and lows will remain close to average through most of next week as well.
