Crimestoppers relies on community tips to catch bad guys
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Law enforcement across Middle Georgia relies on the community to help officers catch the bad guys. Deputy Chris Paul stopped by Daybreak to tell us more about Crimestoppers.
Macon Regional Crimestoppers serves several counties, including Bibb, Baldwin, Houston, Jones, Twiggs, Crawford, Monroe, and Peach. It started 14 years ago.
Paul says Crimestoppers works with local law enforcement on active cases.
People in the community can call in tips anonymously and are eligible to receive an award.
