County officials asking residents to send debris reports via See Click Fix App

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Though crews are still out working to get power lines fixed and roads cleared as a result of storms this week, getting debris picked up is another priority.

EMA Director Spencer Hawkins says once they’ve gotten the remainder of roads cleared and power outages handled, they’ll begin assessing debris clean up.

They’re asking residents to use the See Click Fix App to report any damage or debris they see.

“One of the nice things with See Click Fix is you can actually attach a picture and that really helps us. So, if you do have debris you’re concerned about that is in the front of your house, do a see click fix ticket, put a picture in there so we know what’s going on and what we’re anticipating,” he said.

Hawkins says they’ve actually created a tab for storm damage debris specifically on See Click Fix.

If there’s any damage to your home, they’re encouraging residents to report it to the county there as well in addition to notifying your insurance company.
