Coroner: Pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle late Saturday night
Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones says 32-year-old Demetrius Rashad Lundy died after being struck by a vehicle on Pio Nono Avenue.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after being struck by a vehicle late Saturday night in the 2900 block of Pio Nono Avenue in Macon.
According to Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones, 32-year-old Demetrius Rashad Lundy was pronounced dead just after 10 p.m.
Jones says a late model Dodge Charger struck Lundy, who Jones says was an employee at a Wendy’s restaurant and was on break when the collision happened.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has not released information.
