Coroner identifies man who died after Centerville stabbing

Centerville police found Williamson at the Ridgewood Drive home before he was taken to Atrium Health Navicent Peach, where he died, according to the coroner.

CENTERVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 31-year-old man died after a stabbing Sunday night at a home on Ridgewood Drive in Centerville, according to Houston County Coroner James Williams.

Williams says Centerville police found Cortez Williamson at the home.

Williamson was taken to Atrium Health Navicent Peach, where he died.

Williams says this is Centerville’s third homicide this year.
