Cooler temperatures begin the new week

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Overnight temperatures will be below average tonight before warmer conditions return later in the week.
Tonight
Skies are mostly clear around Middle Georgia heading into the evening and should be completely clear overnight. Low temperatures will dip into the low to mid 40s around the region ahead of Tuesday morning. Ambient winds will come from the east-southeast at around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
It will be a pleasant and sunny day around Middle Georgia as temperatures peak in the mid 70s for most of the region. Winds will come from the southwest at around 5 mph. Pollen levels are a bit different as we head into the back third of April: Grass pollen levels will push towards their peaks as tree pollen levels fall.
Skies will be mostly clear tomorrow night with a few high clouds likely to move in ahead of sunrise Wednesday morning. Lows will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s with ambient wind continuing out of the southwest at 5 mph.
Wednesday and Beyond
Partly cloudy skies are likely Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. This will likely be the theme through the remainder of the week with isolated shower/storm chances each afternoon/evening. A couple of showers could also occur overnight. There are no major rain chances on the horizon at this time.
