Comfort care services offered in Middle Georgia

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- In the days before former First Lady Barbara Bush died, her family issued a statement that said she had decided to use comfort care instead of seeking further medical treatment for chronic health issues.

Families rely on palliative care or comfort care experts to give their loved ones non-medical care and help.

Caregivers from companies like Visiting Angels, work with palliative patients and their families every day. They give physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
