Kids wore their Halloween costumes and played games while they learned about fire safety, the importance of washing their hands, and good nutrition.

Kennyatta Sanford is a parent who said she enjoyed the event.

“It’s very important to me, just with all that’s going around in the counties and stuff, so it was very important to me with their safety, so it’s just an awesome way to put trick or treating together with the safety,” Sandford said.

The Coliseum attempted to break the Guinness Book of World Records for how many s’mores can be made at once.

Unfortunately they did no break the record, but the hospital spokesperson said they will try again next year.
