Coldest night of the week expected tonight followed by another cool afternoon Thursday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will dive into the lower 40s and upper 30s ahead of Thursday morning.
This Evening
Skies will be clear tonight as the wind finally slows a bit more as it shifts more towards the north-northeast. There will be a full moon tonight as well, the Full Hunter’s Moon. Temperatures will bottom out in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Tomorrow
Another cool and sunny afternoon is expected. Wind will blow from the north-northeast around 5-10 mph as temperatures peak in the mid to upper 60s.
Overnight will be clear and chilly with lows expected to largely be in the lower 40s. Wind will blow out of the east-northeast at around 5 mph.
The Tropics
Two areas continue to be monitored in the Atlantic Basin. The first has a 30% chance to become a depression in the next 48 hours and 40% odds to become one in the next 7 days. The second area south of the Yucatan has 20% odds for both time windows.
