Middle Georgia had some showers move through early but the afternoon has largely been quiet. Scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm will remain possible through the evening and into tonight. The cold front itself will likely arrive after midnight, bringing more rain and thunderstorms with it. A few strong wind gusts will be possible through the night and into early tomorrow. Temperatures overnight will largely remain in the 60s before plunging through tomorrow afternoon and into Wednesday night. Expect wind to remain out of the southwest at 10-15 mph, gusting to around 30 mph.

High temperatures for the day will be in the mid 60s, but that will be shortly after midnight Tuesday night. Afternoon highs will likely be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
