Coach’s Corner: J.T. Wall of the John Milledge Trojans

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – When the 2016 season ended, the John Milledge Trojans were GISA State Champions. This finally came after four straight losses in the semi-finals.

This was the first state title in school history.

They will play in Region 4-AAA with Gatewood, Westfield, Augusta Prep, and Westminster.

This is head coach J.T. Wall’s 7th season.

OFFENSE:

• The Trojans will have to replace all of their skill players up front.
• They will be returning their offensive line, however.

DEFENSE:

• Five starters are coming back for the defense.
• In 2016, they only allowed more than 14 points just once, and held opponents to 10 or fewer points in 10 games.

FIRST GAME: August 11th, versus Pinewood Christian.
