Coach’s Corner: Chad Campbell begins 10th season as Peach County coach

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Peach County Trojans finished 2015 with a 9-3 record, beating Josey 42-0 in the first round before losing in overtime to Calhoun by a 20-14 score.

This is Chad Campbell’s 10th year on the sidelines for the Trojans.

The Trojans will be anchored on the offense by two returning juniors: QB Antionio Gilbert and one of his targets, WR Kearis Jackson.

The offensive line will be a question mark, as Coach Campbell looks to solidify the fronts on both sides of the ball.

After allowing 44 points against Warner Robins in the first week of 2015, the Trojans went the rest of the way only allowing 102 points total in 11 games.

Linebacker brothers Kevin Nixon and and Kyle Nixon, both seniors, will be returning.

Peach County will be looking to replace CB Tyrique McGhee, who will play for UGA come the fall.

FIRST GAME: August 26th versus Houston County.
