The city of Perry names new fire chief

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The city of Perry announced there will be a new man in charge of the city’s fire department.

Zenith “Lee” Parker will join the department. He’s currently a battalion chief for the fire department in Forsyth County.

Parker has served as a firefighter in the Air Force and with the Air Force Reserves.

Parker will start working with the fire department on October 31.  He’s replacing Joel Gray who served as chief for 10 years.
