UPDATE: Milledgeville water line break repaired, no boil advisory needed
The city said the break happened Thursday afternoon. Repairs were completed a few hours later.

UPDATE: A water line break on West Charlton Street has been repaired, according to a social media update from the City of Milledgeville.
In the update, the city said “water customers in the affected areas did not lose any services during the repair, and no boil advisory is needed.”

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The City of Milledgeville says a 10- to 14-inch water line break near the Boys and Girls Club on West Charlton Street is leaving many local residents and businesses with low to no water.
The affected areas include Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin Hospital, River Edge Behavioral Health, the old Forstman Building, Baldwin County Youth Services, and the Baldwin County School District, including Lakeview Academy, the Board of Education, and the Bus Garage.
Residents on Meriwether Circle, Pine Lane Drive, and Stevens Drive are also experiencing disruptions.
City officials say there is currently no estimated time for repairs. Customers are advised to conserve water where possible and check with their facilities for updates.
