“Christmas in the Ballpark” helps raise money for Rescue Mission
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Luther Williams Baseball Field.
The Macon Bacon is having Christmas in the Ballpark Saturday. There will be hot chocolate,
popcorn, crafts for kids and they’ll play “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
The event is free, but they are accepting donations for the Rescue Mission.
“Last year, we gave back $40,000 back to the community. Our goal is to double that this year and events like this help us do that so we have an opportunity to do that. We’re accepting donations to benefit the Rescue Mission,” Macon Bacon President Brandon Raphael said.
The event is tomorrow from 5 until 8 p.m – rain or shine.
