Chilly conditions continue Wednesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will still be close to 15 degrees below average Wednesday afternoon.
This Evening
The coldest night of the week is expected overnight tonight into tomorrow. A few clouds will move in through the overnight hours leading to partly cloudy skies by sunrise. Low temperatures will again be below freezing with a number of spots going below 30. The wind will be light from the north around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
More cloud cover is likely for Wednesday afternoon which will mitigate high temperatures slightly. The warmest spots should get into the upper 50s with most spots reaching the mid 50s. The wind will still be light out of the northeast.
Overnight will see clouds clear out as conditions remain chilly. Lows should be in the low to mid 30s leading into the start of Thursday. The wind will shift to out of the southeast while remaining light.
Thursday and Beyond
Warmer conditions will begin to return Thursday afternoon as temperatures return into the upper 60s for most of Middle Georgia. It will be a sunny end to the week with temperatures climbing back into the 80s by Saturday afternoon. This is ideal weather leading into the Cherry Blossom Festival with the exception of pollen levels. Expect trees to be in the extreme over the coming weekend.
