Cherry Blossom Festival Board asks CEO Jake Ferro to resign

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The CEO of the Cherry Blossom Festival is being asked to resign.

The board chair sent an e-mail to 41NBC Tuesday.

Jake Ferro has been CEO for nearly four years.

An interim CEO will be named soon.

We reached out to both Ferro and the Cherry Blossom Festival to find out why he was being asked, but we haven’t heard back.
