Coroner identifies 2-year-old boy who drowned in Macon

Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones says Chase Nunally was pronounced dead Saturday evening at Children’s Hospital.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 2-year-old died after drowning in a pool at a home Saturday afternoon, according to Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones.

Jones identified the child as Chase Nunally.

According to Jones, the drowning happened around 5 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Mollie Drive. He says a family member found the child.

Jones says the child was pronounced dead at Children’s Hospital at 5:41 p.m.
