CGTC Titans Fall to Chattahoochee Tech, 98-87
MACON, Georgia (CGTC RELEASE) – The Central Georgia Tech Titans win a much needed conference game over rival Chattahoochee Tech 58-30.
The Golden Eagles shot 67% from behind the 3 point line in the first half to hold a 23 points lead early (38-15) but the Titans battled back to trail by only 9 at the half. Cameron Baker leads all CGTC scorers with 23 while former Bleckley County standout, Brentine Taylor and Justyn Olson added 17 each in the losing effort. Taylor also added 8 rebounds and 7 steals.
Chattahoochee Tech’s balanced shooting , led by 29 points from Andrew Potter, and Titans poor free throw shooting, cost the Titans their win streak. CGTC loses its first game since the season opener on November 2nd.
The Titans next game is on the road, where the Titans travel to Barnesville, GA to face Gordon College. That game will be held on Saturday the 7th at 7:30 PM.
