CGTC Lady Titans Beat No. 10 Darton College 73-57

ALBANY, Georgia (CGTC RELEASE) – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Lady Titans earned a big win over reigning GCAA Region XVII champion and NJCAA #10 Ranked Darton College 73-57.

Sophomore Ta’Kierra Gibbs led all scorers with 32 points on 13-19 shooting. Freshman Keyondra “Mercedes” Jenkins added 27 points and 6 rebounds to help the Lady Titans improve to 2-1 on the season.

Creating double digit steals and shooting for over 50% from behind the 3 point line helped vault the CGTC Lady Titans into a three way tie atop the GCAA standings.

The Lady Titans will be back in action on Tuesday, November 19 versus Chattanooga State who they beat earlier in the season, 77-63. That game will be held in Chattanooga  at 5:30 pm.
