CeeLo Green to headline Otis Redding Foundation’s ‘O’Tis The Season’ benefit concert in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Grammy Award-winning artist CeeLo Green will be the special guest at the Otis Redding Foundation’s annual O’Tis The Season holiday benefit concert. It’s set for December 9 at Macon’s historic Capitol Theatre.

An Otis Redding Foundation news release says the evening aims to boost the foundation’s year-end fundraising initiatives. All proceeds will support music and arts programs for students in Middle Georgia and contribute to the construction of the new Otis Redding Center For The Arts.

“We’re excited to have CeeLo as our special guest at O’Tis The Season this year,” Otis Redding Foundation Vice President and Executive Director Karla Redding-Andrews said. “With it being such a pivotal year for our capital campaign for the new Otis Redding Center for The Arts, having CeeLo participate could not highlight our holiday season any better.”

Justin Andrews, Director of Special Projects and Outreach at The Otis Redding Foundation, will host the evening. The lineup also includes performances by the Foundation’s own students, the DREAM Team and the World-Famous Rap Room.
