Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigating Cedar Avenue shooting

Deputies say the victim’s injury is non-life-threatening. The case is still under investigation.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A person was shot Thursday morning on Cedar Avenue and taken to the hospital, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said he suffered a single gunshot wound to the leg. His injury was non-life-threatening.

That’s all the information the sheriff’s office provided.

“The incident is still under investigation,” the sheriff’s office said in an emailed statement.
