Carjacking victim held up at gunpoint
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man had his 2000 Ford F-250 pickup truck stolen from him at gunpoint. The incident took place Tuesday on Mosely Dixon near Lower Thomaston Road around 11 a.m.
The victim had just picked up his truck after getting it repaired. His check engine light came on so he pulled off to the side of the road. The police report says two men in Honda Accord pulled behind him. The victim says one of the men asked him if he needed help. Police say one of the men pulled out a gun and stole money the vehicle.
The victim was not hurt.
