Car and Tractor Trailer accident on Eisenhower Parkway

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Roads near Eisenhower Parkway were blocked off Wednesday morning after a car and tractor trailer collided.

Deputy Clay Williams, with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, says the accident happened around 7 a.m. when a 2013 Toyota Prius was traveling south on Fulton Mill Road and failed to yield for a tractor trailer that was traveling westbound.

The tractor trailer couldn’t avoid the car and they both collided in the center median on Eisenhower Parkway.

The driver of the Prius was conscious and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The truck driver wasn’t hurt.
