Canceled rap concert starts nightclub riot
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Whiskey River, located at 4570 Pio Nono Avenue.
Rapper “Lil Boosie” was scheduled to perform, but when people found out the show was canceled, things got out of control.
Tickets for the show were sold by M.B.P. Promotions in Tennessee. The concert tickets continued to sell on the same day of his performance.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, three people were injured when people started throwing items and knocking over tables.
Those injured were treated at the scene.
No arrests have been made in this case.
