You can now take flights to Tampa out of Middle Georgia Regional Airport

Georgia’s regional airport and contour airlines is now in service for flights between Macon and Tampa, Florida.

Passenger, Christi Moore says that she is excited and ready for this trip and loves flying out of Georgia’s Regional Airport.

“It’s better than Atlanta, I don’t like Atlanta’s Airport,” says Moore.

Airport Manager, Erick D’leon explains how the regional airport is developing bigger than before with the destination.

“This is a big time for us. we’ve moved probably just about fifteen thousand folks this year,” says D’leon.

Tampa was selected as one of the more popular destinations for middle Georgia according to contour airlines Ceo Matt Chaifetz.

Flights start today with tickets starting for $79 dollars each way. Flights will be available through the end of February.
