FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — It’s been a long-time dream of Pat Burns and Pat Corley to have this no-kill shelter in Monroe County — 1998 is when the idea started, actually. A lot of progress has been made, and they hope to speed it up with a fine art sale. The purpose is to raise funds dollar for dollar by a private grant to finish construction of this shelter.
