Deputies: Man arrested during burglary in progress in south Monroe County

According to a sheriff's office news release, Nathaniel Lee Morris of Athens was arrested on Plantation Drive.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies say they arrested a man during a burglary in progress in south Monroe County on Wednesday.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, Nathaniel Lee Morris of Athens was arrested on Plantation Drive.

Deputies were dispatched to a home following a report of a burglary in progress. When they arrived, they made contact with Morris, who was then taken into custody. Morris is being held in the Monroe County Jail without bond.

He also has an outstanding warrant out of Clarke County.
