Braves offering free tickets to Hurricane Florence evacuees
ATLANTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Atlanta Braves are offering free tickets to Hurricane Florence evacuees for this weekend’s series against the Washington Nationals.
Friday night’s game is at 7:35, Saturday’s game is at 1:05 and Sunday’s game is at 1:35.
People from North and South Carolina and Georgia zip codes under a mandatory evacuation will be able to show their driver’s license at the SunTrust Park ticket office and receive tickets, while supplies last.
All proceeds from the weekend’s 50/50 raffle will benefit Red Cross relief efforts.
The Braves’ magic number to clinch the National League East Division is down to 10. Kevin Gausman is scheduled to start Game 1 against Washington, Julio Teheran is scheduled to start Game 2 and Sean Newcomb is scheduled to start Game 3.
