MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The body of a man found on the Ocmulgee River on Saturday has been identified.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says 53-year-old Winston Gamble was homeless. The Titusville, Florida native was a resident at the Heritage Nursing Home on Anthony Road in Macon. He checked out more than a year ago to stay with friends.
Investigators found Gamble’s body badly decomposed with a Mary Persons “Prom 2015” rubber bracelet.
