Body found behind business in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A body was found behind the shopping center at 3780 Northside Drive Saturday morning.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the body was badly decomposed with a backpack on.

Workers were cutting grass when they smelled a bad odor. They looked to see where the smell was coming from and they found a body.

Investigators are trying to figure out who this person was. They believe it may be a black male.
