Bobcats Host Fourth Annual “Halloween on the Hill”
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – In a night filled with ghosts, goblins and ghouls, members of the Georgia College baseball and softball teams entertained the Milledgeville youth Wednesday night with the Fourth Annual Halloween on the Hill at John Kurtz Field.
The youngsters showed up to take part in various games, face painting and activities, all while getting a chance to meet some of their favorite Bobcat student-athletes.
Following that, everyone headed over to the diamond to check out a brief in-costume baseball game with members of the GC baseball team.
The children, dressed in their Halloween attire, then had the opportunity to come down on the field, judge the costume contest and run the bases. Pitcher Josh Pape’s “Minion” from Despicable Me won top costume honors among the players, as voted on by the fans.
Student Health Services was on hand to remind the youngsters of healthy snack options, and the benefits of staying active.
For the fourth consecutive year, Halloween on the Hill proved to be a huge success within the community, bringing its fair share of children and smiles to John Kurtz Field.
