Bobcats Get Rings, Presidential First Pitch for Opening Day Feb. 8

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – The No. 32 Georgia College baseball team has big plans for the season-opening doubleheader with King College Saturday, Feb. 8 starting at 1 p.m.

Prior to the contest, the Bobcats will receive their 2013 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament Championship Rings, commemorating the first PBC Tournament Championship in school history. In addition, Georgia College President Dr. Steve Dorman will throw the honorary first pitch.

Come see the Bobcats kick off the 2014 campaign at home against King, get their rings and watch Dr. Dorman bring the heat Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at John Kurtz Field on Georgia College’s West Campus.
