Boater finds skull of missing Norcross woman in river
LILBURN, Georgia (AP) – Police say the skull of a Norcross woman has been discovered in a river, about two months after she was reported missing.
Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Michele Pihera says a man fishing with his children on the Yellow River in Lilburn on Sunday afternoon called 911 to report a human skull under the water. Pihera says dental records confirmed the remains were 45-year-old Ceaulovone Milner.
Milner was last seen by friends on March 28, and was reported missing by her daughter on March 31. Police have said Milner’s car was found in the parking lot of her apartment building, but her cell phone and keys were missing. The phone has since turned off.
Pihera says police don’t know what caused Milner’s death and are continuing to investigate the case.
