Two arrested after series of burglaries, car break-in in Bleckley County

The Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office says stolen property and weapons were recovered during search warrants in Warner Robins and Peach County.

COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two people have been arrested following a series of property crimes in Bleckley County.

According to the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and investigators responded last week to multiple incidents, including residential burglaries on Dillard Road and Holt-Perkins Road and an entering auto case on Georgia Highway 257.

The sheriff’s office said investigators executed two search warrants on Tuesday, one at a home in Warner Robins and another in Peach County. During those searches, deputies say they recovered weapons and additional reported stolen property.

Eli Cranford of Bleckley County was arrested and is charged with two counts of burglary and one count of entering an automobile. He is being held at the Bleckley County Jail.

Justin Spanik of Peach County was also arrested. He’s charged with theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Spanik is being held at the Peach County Jail.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing.
