Bivins beats Jarrell to keep District 5 commission seat

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bert Bivins will continue his job as District 5 commissioner in Bibb County after Leroy Jarrell’s challenge fell short.

The political veteran took 79% of the vote to Jarrell’s 21%.
