Monica Diaz-Meek is an anchor for 41NBC/WMGT-TV in Macon, Georgia. She anchors the midday newscast and early evening newscasts.

Florida-born and Texas-raised, Monica Diaz-Meek is no stranger to the South. In 2016, she left the Lone Star State and went to Kansas State University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Spanish.

Monica completed her news internship in Topeka, Kansas, where she covered political news and grew her passion for journalism. In 2020, she began as a Weekend Anchor and reporter in Abilene, Texas but shortly after became the Morning News Anchor. She has covered local politics, crime news, and community events.

In her free time, Monica enjoys traveling to new places, exploring the outdoors, and cheering on the K-State Wildcats with her husband and 2 children. Monica also likes to read a good book, watch Survivor, and make Puerto Rican food with her husband.

Monica is looking forward to making Macon her home and getting involved with the beautiful community.
