Gena Tripp brings a hometown perspective to 41NBC as a Middle Georgia native and storyteller at heart.
She studied Media and Communications at Middle Georgia State University, building on an early start in journalism from her high school’s morning news announcements—where she learned the power of clear, accurate, community-focused news.
Gena is passionate about connecting viewers with timely, helpful information and shining a light on everyday voices that deserve to be heard.
Her reporting interests include education, neighborhood development, and arts and culture across the region.
Away from the newsroom, Gena enjoys reading, performing with local community theatre groups, and supporting Middle Georgia’s small businesses through plenty of weekend window-shopping.
