UPDATE: Bibb Sheriff’s deputies investigate fatal traffic accident

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man is dead after a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just before 4:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Wesleyan Drive.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 71-year-old Arthur Thorsberg Jr. was driving a 2004 Honda, three wheel motorcycle when it went off the right side of the roadway, and struck a culvert next to a driveway.

He was taken to Medical Center, Navicent Health where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
