Bibb deputies: Woman arrested after being caught speeding in stolen vehicle
A woman is in jail after Bibb County deputies say she was caught speeding in a stolen vehicle.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman is in jail after Bibb County deputies say she was caught speeding in a stolen vehicle.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy witnessed Cassidy Burney driving in excess of 100 miles per hour on I-75 and 95 miles per hour on the Hartley Bridge Road exit ramp.
Deputies say the stolen vehicle, a Nissan Rogue, had a busted window and no license plate and that Burney told them the car was given to her as a gift.
Bibb County Jail records show she’s charged with theft by receiving stolen property. Her bond was set at $3,300.
