Bibb Deputies Seize 30 lbs of Marijuana, $35K in Cash

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Bibb County deputies drug investigators rounded up about 30 lbs. of marijuana Thursday afternoon, that’s worth about $60,000 on the street.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, members of the swat team arrested 22-year-old Joseph Anthony-Bernard Willis at a home on Fairmount Avenue around 1pm.

Inside the home they found the marijuana, a semi-automatic handgun, and $35,000 dollars in cash.

Willis is charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school.
