Bibb deputies search for stolen truck and suspects involved

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A pick up truck was stolen out of the Bigfoot PowerSports store parking lot early Saturday morning.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the men who were involved and the 1986 brown Chevrolet Silverado.

Surveillance video shows a man breaking inside while another man walks around the front of the truck and acts as a lookout. The men searched inside the car and ran off.

Four hours later, a third suspect entered the truck and drove off.

Marketing Director, Eddie Hinesley says he left his truck at the store while he drove the company’s vehicle for a business function, and to return with this bad news feels like a nightmare.

“When I came up here on Saturday… Saturday morning, you the know business. You know, since I pulled in, I noticed my truck was gone. So, you know, of course I’m upset because I know that no one else got my truck, that I know, so I knew it was stolen,” says Hinesley.

This is the second time a theft took place in the same week at this business.

A cash reward is being offered.

Anyone who knows where the truck or the suspects are is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 751-7500.
