Bibb deputies search for man who shot his father in law

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who shot his girlfriend’s stepfather on Saturday afternoon.

Bibb deputies responded to a call of a person shot on McKenzie Drive in Macon around 4:00 p.m. When they arrived to the home, they found 51-year old Darrin Lewis sitting in a chair on the porch with a gunshot wound in his leg. Lewis told deputies that he and 27-year old Marquez Treshad Tuff were having an argument and Tuff pulled out a gun and shot him then ran off.

Lewis was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health for treatment. Tuff is described as 6 feet tall and weighs 195lbs. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500, or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
